I’m a copywriter and content strategist with a penchant for bringing all the little details together perfectly.

I love asking questions and solving big, messy problems. I am equally comfortable creating the work or collaborating with a team to bring out the magic.

I’ve worked with companies in tech, education, industrial safety, and beyond to craft brand voice, roll out websites, reinvigorate social media audiences, and more. As a journalist, I’ve written for Vice, Denver Post, Eater, Willamette Week, The Oregonian, and elsewhere. My first love is fiction; my short stories have appeared in some of our country’s most prestigious yet seldom read literary journals: Gulf Coast, Cutbank, The Pinch

I grew up in California and Montana and now live in Portland, OR, with my family. I love playing in the yard with my kids and dogs and exploring new recipes in the kitchen with my wife. Before dawn most mornings you’ll find me joyfully (and painfully) at work on a novel set in the American West.

My only two flaws: I’m relentlessly optimistic about the Portland Trail Blazers and I cannot stomach Sublime’s music.
